This Asia map is a handy tool to support your teaching on geography and the different continents. There are two worksheets included in this resource, one includes the names of the countries and the other does not. That means you can choose which one suits your class best.
really great!
Thank you
Thank you so much for providing the line free version - just what I needed! Brilliant support as always!
Hello nikidoran,
You're very welcome and I'm so glad that we could help!
Palawan Island is missing on the Philippine Map.
Dear Twinkl Team,
Kindly alter the Indian Map as per the latest changes in the Jammu and Kashmir region. This change has been brought about in the year 2019 itself.
I am using it to homeschool my child...and I find all the resources very thoroughly and beautifully done...
Thank you for the amazing work you do :)
Hello amrath781,
Thanks for getting in touch about this. We will carefully check this as soon as possible.
This Asia map is a handy tool to support your teaching on geography and the different continents. There are two worksheets included in this resource, one includes the names of the countries and the other does not. That means you can choose which one suits your class best.
There are many different things you can do with this map too. It can be used as a display resource on a classroom wall are as a teaching prompt to introduce children to the countries of Asia. It can be used as a worksheet where children can label the continent, draw landmarks and write facts.
Because this map comes in black and white, it means you can use it as a colouring activity too. Why not get children to colour in each country using a different colour, perhaps as the colours of their flags?
It also means you don’t have to use any colour ink when printing this resource out, and if you wanted to save on black ink you might be interested in the super eco colour version.
Using our Asia map, you can help your pupils remember the names of all the Asian countries. You could give each child a copy of the map with the names of countries included at the start of the topic, and set these country names as spelling words throughout the topic. At the end of the topic, you can have an Asian country spelling test.
And to push your children further, you could give them the blank map of Asia without country names to see if they can work out where each country is.
There are a range of other Asian geography resources available, including this displayable Asia Map with Words and Pictures you could place on a classroom wall. A good resource to pair with this map to teach about Asian countries is this Card Game.
