Diagnosis
Diagnosis_genus: Ellobiocystis Coutière 1911. Ectocommensal of pelagic crustaceans (saprophytic), generally localised in the mouth piece of the host. Parasite ovoid to cylindro-conical, sometime articulated and pedunculated.
Diagnosis_Species: Ellobiocystis filicollis Coutière 1911. Fixed to the host, without penetration. Composed by 2-3 elongated articles separed by narrow isthmes.
Body_trophont_length: 600 µm.
