Description:
Plant to 1 m high, tomentose, the hairs appressed, greenish; leaves linear, to 13 cm long, c. 2 mm wide, sessile, slightly connate, acute or the lower obtuse.
Calyx c. 6 cm long, ovoid, much shorter than the caducous teeth; petals slightly shorter than the calyx, with 3 prominent longitudinal nerves, no spots on the limbs, light-purple.
Seeds c. 3 mm or more long, tuberculate.
