"Oak Maze Polypore" Thick maze-like pores on relatively small, tough annual or perennial polypore. Top of fruiting body is light gray-brown to cinnamon-brown , but paler toward the margin. Saprotrophic, growing on decaying hardwoods, especially oaks. It is a brown rotter. White spore print. Has been used as a comb. Has potential for bioremediation.
