Common Name The Sooty Black Brown Caladenia - The Sooty Spider Orchid

Flower Size 3.2 to 4" [8 to 10 cm]

Found in South Australia on sheltered slopes in tall forests at elevations around 30 to 50 meters as a small to medium sized, cold growing terrestrial with a narrow, linear, pubescent, obtuse leaf that blooms in the late winter and early spring on an erect, 6 to 14" [15 to 35 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence.
