Found in Thailand, Borneo, Java, Lesser Sunda Islands, Malaysia, New Caledonia and Vanuatu in wooded gullies or on rocks in scrubland at elevations of 200 to 600 meters as a miniature sized, hot to warm growing terrestrial or lithophyte with 3 to 5, ground hugging, broadly lanceolate, acute, petiolate leaves that blooms in the fall on a terminal, to 8 flowered, pubescent inflorescence with 3 lanceolate bracts spread out evenly.
