Found in Sabah Borneo in hill forests at elevations of 600 to 800 meters as a small sized, warm growing epiphyte with 2 to 3, all in one plane, pendent, oblong-elliptic, obtuse, succulent, thick, grey green leaves that blooms in the late summer and early fall on a pendent, peduncle slightly thinner than the rachis, to 8" [20 cm] long overall, glabrous, simultaneously 3, successively several flowered inflorescence carrying flat, fleshy flowers.

Closely related to P gigantea and P doweryensis but this one has simultaneously 3, successively several flowers.
