Description Of The Tree

Botanical Description

The tree reaches a height of 50 m, with trunk diameters up to 130 cm. The bole is cylindrical and straight, from 16 to 20 m in length.

Natural Habitat

Poga oleosa is reported in the dense equatorial forests, often along riverbanks and coastal areas.

Natural Distribution

Distributed from Nigeria to the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
