Nice app but update download malfunctions. Have used it for a long time, and found it a great help for IDs of odonates. Got a new phone, and like many others have mentioned, it refuses to download the update (meaning you can't use it), indicating a " bad connection". As I am sitting two feet away from a fast, working gigabit mesh WiFi router, that's a nope. This has been an issue since at least December 2021, so nine months and no resolution or acknowledgment of the problem. Not professional.

Recent update fixes data problem. For the last couple of years, the app had been unusable, because the data download didn't work. Lots of folks had this problem, and it looks as if the developers heard our anguish. Now, updating the app downloads the data automatically - problem solved. Back to being able to use this excellent little app.

I like having an app for ode identification. I think it could be better if the font, boldness, or something else pertaining to the letters would be changed. Some of the stuff is not really easy to read, not impossible but could be better. Also, I think a good feature might be adding an option to submit pictures for identification and then your own photos could be on your life list. But overall, I like it for ode identification.
