Blake Lively Says She Gets Her 'Maximalist' Style from Her Mom in Rare Selfie of the Two

The mother-daughter duo modeled some Tiffany & Co. bling in a sweet new Instagram post

Blake Lively is celebrating her mom — and her mom’s ability to accessorize!

In a new Instagram post, the Gossip Girl star, 36, revealed that her mother, Elaine Lively, favors “maximalist” jewelry — particularly stacking her necklaces — a quality she inherited from the retired talent manager.

Alongside a selfie, Blake declared that she “would like to replace the term ‘hoarder’ in favor of ‘maximalist’.”

“It makes me feel better,” she wrote. “Wonder where I get it from…”

Also in the caption, the actress shared the funny exchange behind the sweet mother-daughter pic.

She said she asked Elaine to help her model some Tiffany & Co. jewelry and when she asked her what necklace she would like to wear, her mom responded, “All of them.”

“No. pick your favorite,” Blake replied, to which her mom said, “ALL of them. Turn on The Makeup Light.”

Added the actress: “…the woman wins. Every time. #LockWithLove @tiffanyandco.”

In the picture, the pair sports twinning smiles and hairstyles, but each chose to layer different Tiffany pieces, most of which are from the jeweler's Tiffany Lock collection.

Elaine’s necklace stack included the brand’s lock pendant in three different sizes, while Blake appeared to model a stack of lock bangles and the Multi-row Bypass Bracelet.

Another mother-daughter duo recently partnered with the iconic luxury jeweler to model its Tiffany Lock collection.

Earlier this month, Lily Aldridge also took to Instagram to share some snaps with her 11-year-old daughter, Dixie Pearl, sporting some pieces from the collection, which debuted earlier this year in a campaign fronted by several stars: ROSÉ of Blackpink, Jimin of BTS, Nancy Ajram and Florence Pugh.
