Biography

An explosive ball-carrier and pass catcher who hopes to bounce back after a year away from the program … Enjoyed strong spring performance following layoff and could vie for a return to the offensive depth chart to compete with a young and deep running back corps … Had been on an upward statistical trajectory (rushing/receiving yards) since true freshman campaign before sitting out ’17 campaign … Has played in 31 career contests and rushed for 859 yards and six touchdowns on 183 carries (4.7 ypr) … Has also caught 32 balls out of the backfield for 209 yards … Accounted for nine touchdowns (six rushing, three receiving) and 1,092 all-purpose yards … Rushed for a game-high 84 yards and one touchdown (14-yarder) on nine carries during the first spring scrimmage on March 17, but did not record statistics in the Purple-Gold Game a week later.
