Elephantopus nudatus A. Gray. Coastal Plain Elephant’s-foot. Phen: Late Jul-Sep. Hab: Woodlands and woodland borders, wet pine flatwoods, mesic pine flatwoods. Dist: DE south to n. peninsular FL, west to e. TX and AR, primarily on the Coastal Plain; south into n. South America.
