Newtonmore is a beautiful Highland village, in the majestic Badenoch & Strathspey area, with a strong sense of Highland culture and heritage. Newtonmore refers to itself as the walking capital of Scotland, in deference to the many walks, scenic views and unspoilt wildlife that surrounds it. Newtonmore has seen it's fair share of Clan History, close to the Clan MacPherson cairn, ancient battlefields and home to the Highland Folk Museum. The Wildcat Experience is a big attraction to the area and the Heritage Trail is a great way to learn about the history of the village.
