Euphorbia rossii is native to southwestern Madagascar in the Mongoky Valley area. Its natural habitat is arid. It grows in well-drained soil.

Water E. rossii well then let it almost dry out during the growing season. Don’t spray with water since that can cause fungal disease. The plant likes to be mostly dry over winter and kept warm with a minimum temperature of 60 degrees F.

It needs a bright position with as much sun as possible. Be careful, though, because E. rossii can sunburn. Try to ensure air movement around the plant, especially when the air is moist and humid, to help prevent fungal disease. It can be grown from cuttings or seed.
