September 8, 2016: Two Back To Back Episodes! Two Phenomenal Directors!

This episode was directed by Mairzee Almas (Lucifer, The Last Ship, iZombie, The 100, Smallville – to name but a few).  It was my first time working with Mairzee.  She was an absolute joy to work with and she delivers an episode chock full of suspense, humor and, most importantly, heart.  Lots and lots of HEART!  I’m confident some of you will shed a few tears during this one.September 8, 2016: Two Back To Back Episodes! Immediately following, at 8 pm PDT/11 pm EDT, it’ll be “Sometimes in Life You Don’t Get to Choose”

Four’s loyalty is put to the test when he attempts to reclaim the throne of Ishida.

September 8, 2016: Two Back To Back Episodes! Two Phenomenal Directors!

This episode was directed by Will Waring (Continuum, Stargate: SG-1, Stargate: Atlantis, Stargate: Universe).  This was NOT my first time working with Will. Some of my best memories of my time on Stargate of are the days I spent on set with Will.  And, this time out, it was just old times.  Love this guy – and his episode which promises twists, turns, surprises and an ending I’ve been planning for years!

  1. Tried to watch the clip, but apparently there is too much going on on the page, as the video won’t load properly…keeps skipping and buffering and freezing. I don’t usually visit blogs and sites that have a lot of stuff going on for that reason. Between the video ads and other stuff, it takes forever and I just don’t have the patience for that. So I don’t visit.

That’s okay, I’ll just have to wait the one.more.day!!!

  2. I’ve been clip crazy – was able to finally watch the above link’s clip which is hilarious by the way but I guess that will be short lived based on SyFy’s exclusive video tease and the main promo for this week. Double trouble for SyFy Friday! Getting the Rotel & chips ready!! Seriously!!

  3. So looking forward to the remaining three episodes!. Really can’t believe how quickly we have reached this point in time …
Over here in the UK, it seems, we won’t be viewing a double bill which in some ways is good – we get Dark Matter for longer! (Yay!) and the last episode will be showing on my birthday. Howzat for perfect timing!

Enjoy a really well deserved holiday in Japan, Joe. Looking forward to your foody details in particular ….. Safe journey.

  4. Yeah, @KathyC, it’s great innit? I’ll tell you all about it! 😁

    Ahh …. no … hang on a minute …. 😶

  5. Looking forward to tonight and seeing what Mairzee came up with. I’m so glad you had a chance to work with her. I Remember when I first noticed her work in Sanctuary. She is definitely someone who makes ya “feel”.
I’ve watched almost everything she has done ever since.
This is one ya don’t want to miss folks!
Mairzee is truly a rare gem! xo

    Safe travels tomorrow Joe!
Be sure to take lots of pics!
I’m sure we’d all also love to see some pics or vid
of the area where Akemi’s family resides
and any scenic places you might visit this time around. 🙂

  6. The crown empress is such a great character, that is a lady who knows how to play the game of thrones.

  7. Dancing with Dark Matter! Sounds like a reality show spin-off (or a blooper extra). Like what they did on Meet the Spartans
