Notes

Perennial grass to 1m tall.  Leaves with a smooth or rough sheath at the base. Ligule a membrane with a fringe of hairs. Leaves to 20cm long, 1-3mm wide, rolled or the edges rolled inwards, rough to sparsely hairy.  Spikelets 12-17mm long.  Mature seed groups cylindrical. Seeds with one long awn.  Rare Vic.
