Medium/tall tree, 15-25m tall. Papery trunk and large leaves. Creamy-white or greenish-cream bottlebrushes mostly in autumn. Useful for moist, brackish soil, tolerating both dry and very wet conditions. Frost tender. Blooms attract nectar-eating birds and flying foxes. Good shelterbelt tree.
