Psephellus simplicicaulis 'Bellina Pink', commonly known as corn flower, is a valuable accent or ground cover for difficult to plant dry sites. Lovely, frilly, matte-green and silver leaves on a well-behaved 4 inch tall and 18-24 inch wide mound, plays host to endless bright pink, pincushion flowers held on 8 to 10 inch high thin and sturdy stems from spring to midsummer. Great as a ground cover in dry sites, rock and xeriscape gardens and small spaces. Hummingbird and pollinator attractor. Deer resistant. Sometimes included in Centaurea.
