This picture brings back so many memories – bizarrely this was the spot where I used to wait for a bus to school in the early 70s. Do you have any prints of this? It even has where I lived. A lovely lovely picture bringing back so many memories. Thank you
Hi John, Thank you very much for contacting me through the site and for your very interesting and appreciative comments. I’m afraid I do not still have the painting but do have it on file so could get a print made either on paper or canvas or even as a pack of postcards. I use Photobox for this sort of work. Not sure about price but probably in the region of £25 + postage. We moved to Bethesda in 1973. I’m not sure exactly when I painted the picture but I think in the 80s or maybe 90s. When were you standing at the bus stop? and have you been back recently. A lot has changed, but quite a bit is still the same. The chapel has now gone and the farm buildings have been replaced with new houses. Any way thanks again for the interest and let me know. Kind regards, Martin
