I believe in life and in business I have a responsibility to show up with integrity. The small things matter. People should feel seen and heard.

Tell us about you

I have been on the board of First class Vending for 28 years. I became President of our Nevada branch 4 years ago. Prior to taking on the role of the President I worked in the business from the backend while having a career in Social Services working with special needs children and as a Domestic Violence victim advocate. I have 2 adult children. I have been married for 27 years. I enjoy reading, walking, yoga, swimming and doing crossword puzzles. I am fascinating by human behavior and learning about people's life journeys.

What’s your favorite thing to do in Las Vegas?

As I have only lived in Las Vegas for the past five years I am still exploring and learning about all that Las Vegas has to offer. I enjoy discovering new restaurants and the beauty of the Red Rock area.

How has NAWBO helped you grow your business?

The NAWBO circle has provided me with the opportunity to connect with women around the country and grow my business acumen.

What are the best tips you’ve learned as a NAWBO member you’d like to share to inspire/help other women business owners in Southern Nevada? (Inspiring Tomorrow’s Leaders)

1. It is important to have company values that coincide with your own values. It will make decision making so much easier. 2. NAWBO members will celebrate the wins with you and lift you up when you need. Don't be afraid to share. 3. Life balance is so important!
