Actor BD Wong quietly buys home in converted church

Tony-winning actor BD Wong has quietly purchased a duplex in a converted Brooklyn Heights church for $1.25 million, according to records recently filed with the city.

Wong is known to many for his role as Dr. George Huang on the popular television series “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.” (The 58-year-old was also in the “Jurassic Park” movies.)

The co-op, on Clinton Street, is 1,500 square feet.

It features two bedrooms and two bathrooms — with an option to create a third bedroom. Original details include 22-foot-high ceilings, stained glass windows and wide-plank pumpkin pine floors.

Listing images additionally show a woodburning fireplace as well as a sculptural staircase that connects the two levels.

Wong nabbed the pad for its most recent asking price — which was reduced from the $1.75 million it asked in 2018.

The listing brokers were Terry Naini and Emilia Sultan of Brown Harris Stevens.

Wong is no stranger to local property deals: In 2014, he sold a quirkily decorated three-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment in Noho — the third NYC pad he worked with architect Jack Wettling on — for its full $3.25 million ask.

Then, in 2016, he bought a gut-renovated townhouse in Bed-Stuy for $1.49 million.
