Michelle Troconis, ex of Fotis Dulos, ‘knows nothing about’ victim Jennifer

Michelle Troconis — the “other woman” accused of conspiring in the murder of Connecticut mother-of-five Jennifer Dulos — has broken her silence, on Thursday insisting, “I know nothing.”

But Troconis does throw her ex, accused killer Fotis Dulos, under the bus in her statement, which was published by NBC in Connecticut.

“Whether or not Fotis Dulos was capable of doing the things the police and prosecutors accused him of doing, I do not know,” Traconis writes of her one-time beau, who killed himself in January while still charged with Jennifer’s murder.

But while Fotis’ suicide note came to Troconis’ defense, saying she had nothing to do with “the disappearance,” Traconis did not reciprocate on Thursday.

“Based on what I have learned in the last year,” Traconis’ statement reads, “I think it was a mistake to have trusted him.”

“My name is Michelle Troconis,” she wrote in the denial-dense statement published days before the May 24 one-year anniversary Dulos’ disappearance.

“I know nothing about Jennifer Dulos’ whereabouts or what may have happened to her,” Troconis wrote in the statement.

Troconis also says that “as a mother” she is “saddened for the loss that these five children have suffered.”

Troconis is charged with tampering with evidence for allegedly helping Fotis, who was then her boyfriend, visit a series of dumpsters to dispose of items stained with Jennifer’s blood.

Jennifer Dulos was last seen dropping her children off at school. She and Fotis were in the midst of a bitter divorce at the time.

“I think the statement speaks for itself,” said her lawyer, Jon Schoenhorn.

“She felt she needed to say something,” particularly after her case has been postponed repeatedly, he said.

Troconis was last in court Feb. 6; yesterday she learned her next court date won’t be until Aug. 6, the lawyer said.
