NYPD officers weren’t the only unlikely guests fawning at a party for star and ex-con Lillo Brancato’s film “Back in the Day” this week.
Another unlikely admirer at the bash hosted by William DeMeo and Noel Ashman was John Gotti Jr., who spies said was thrilled to meet Brancato’s co-star, Michael Madsen.
“Gotti told him, ‘I’m a big fan of ‘Donnie Brasco,’ ” said a spy, who added Gotti even took out a copy of the book “Shadow of my Father” to show him a picture of “Sonny Black,” the gangster Madsen played in the flick.
