Frances Bean Cobain and Isaiah Silva are officially divorced, but they still have some issues to sort out.
Cobain, 25, and Silva, 32, still have to work out who gets which assets, according to The Blast. One of the biggest property disputes is over Kurt Cobain‘s acoustic guitar. Silva claims he has the right to hold onto the 1959 Martin D-18E, but Frances won’t let it go.
As Page Six previously reported, Frances asked a court in January to force her now-ex-husband to relinquish the guitar after private negotiations failed. Silva has long claimed that Frances gave it to him as a wedding gift, something she strongly denies.
The guitar, which her father played in Nirvana’s famous “MTV Unplugged” session and which is worth several million dollars, has been at the center of their vicious battle since the end of their two-year marriage in March 2016.
The former couple secretly wed in June 2014.
