Joss Stone is going to be a mom.
On Monday, the British singer announced she’s pregnant and expecting her first child with her boyfriend Cody, an American musician.
“Guess what? I am going to have a little baby, too!” Stone said on her “A Cuppa Happy” podcast. “I am so excited to talk to you [influencer Ella Mills] because I don’t know many pregnant women. I am week 17 and I just stopped being sick all the time.”
Stone, 33, added that while fearful of labor, Cody has told her, “pain is temporary.”
“I woke up in the middle of the night, randomly, and I was like, ‘Oh my God, I’m really scared.’ I just got really terrified of having to push it out,” she said.
Stone previously said she considered “arranged marriages” before meeting Cody. It’s unclear how long they’ve been together, per the Daily Mail.
In August, Stone and Cody joked about their accents in a cute Instagram video.
