Love is in the air.
Common and Jennifer Hudson seemingly confirmed their relationship in a preview of Monday’s episode of “The Jennifer Hudson Show.”
While romance rumors have been swirling around the pair fora while, Common revealed the biggest clue he’s dating Hudson during a flirty exchange on Hudson’s show.
In the preview clip, Hudson, 42, introduced Common, 51, to the audience as he presented her with a large floral arrangement.
“Now, we gotta get down to business, Mr. Common. I’m a host and so I have to ask you this question ’cause everybody always wanna know this — are you dating anyone?” Hudson asked the rapper.
“I’m in a relationship that is with one of the most beautiful people I ever met in life,” he said coyly. “She’s smart, she loves God, she has something real down-to-earth about her, she’s talented.”
“But I set my standard kind of high because she had to have an EGOT,” he continued. “She had to win an Oscar on her first movie. I set my stand high. She had to get her own talk show.”
After blushing at Common’s answer, Hudson simply said, “Oh, OK,” before letting out a playful giggle.
Common then flipped the question and asked the host whether she was seeing anyone.
Hudson said she was “very happy” in her relationship, as Common elaborated more on his initial coy answer.
“This relationship is a happy place for me,” he shared. “Seeing her happy actually makes me really happy. So, I’m very grateful. I thank God each and every day, and I’m just letting God guide this relationship.”
Dating rumors between Hudson and the “Come Close” rapper began surfacing in February 2022, when they were spotted together in Philadelphia and their hometown of Chicago.

Three months later, it was announced that they would be starring together in the forthcoming film “Breathe.”
Though the pair was seen on several outings together — including a romantic getaway to London for the Fourth of July last year — they have remained tight-lipped about their relationship status.
Hudson is mom to son David Daniel Otunga Jr., 14, whom she shares with her ex-fiancé, former WWE star David Otunga.
The former couple split in 2017 after a decade together.
Meanwhile, Common has previously dated a slew of A-list women, including Serena Williams, Taraji P. Henson and Tiffany Haddish, whom he split from in November 2021.
