Toyota Mr2 Rev3 Turbo Tbar in SMG 1994
So the time has come to possibly sell the 2.
Toyota MR2 Revision 3 Turbo T-Bar Import 1994. Original Turbo NOT conversion, In very good condition.
It has had a FULL engine rebuild by Simon at YVS Performance in Sherburn in Elmet around 2000 miles ago. Build included forged pistons and Genuine Toyota parts were used throughout. It also has over £1k in Tein coilovers. Brand new rear tyres and fronts are decent. Branded tyres not cheap crappy ones. Full engine spec is listed below.
Finished in Steel Mist Grey SMG. It is an original Turbo and therefore you can Decat it and it is ok at MOT time. It has MOT until February but I will put a full MOT on it before sale. It was Imported in 2001 and has had 5 owners since. Very well looked after throughout its life.
The service history for the car is phenomenal, there is receipts for 1000’s and 1000’s and every MOT is in the history file. I have filed everything in date order in the history and money has been spent throughout its life in the country.
Full Engine List;
Good used 3S block on standard 86mm bore.
CP Carrillo Forged pistons at 86mm.
Full Toyota gasket kit.
Full Toyota cambelt kit with Gates cambelt.
Toyota water pump and oil pump.
Head fully rebuilt.
Cam cover professionally powder coated in a nice silver colour.
Full Exedy clutch kit.
Crank checked and polished.
ARP bolts.
ACL Race bearings.
Low mileage CT20b Turbo.
Berk downpipe with Decat.
Run in on Millers 10w40 Running in oil.
Gulf Competition 10w40 Ester based Fully Synthetic oil.
Coolant changed.
Block fully cleaned and painted in black high temperature paint.
NGK spark plugs.
Toyota leads.
Modifications;
Apexi induction kit.
Mongoose stainless steel exhaust.
Fensport 1 bar Turbo actuator.
Side skirts.
17” wheels with correctly staggered tyres. 225/40/17 fronts and 245/40/17.
Aftermarket stereo.
Berk down pipe and Decat.
Tein Superstreet coilovers which cost over a grand with receipt to prove.
Berk uprated Intercooler.
Bad Points;
There is a bit of bubbling on the passenger rear arch and the slightest bit on the drivers arch.
The idle can be slightly low at times but doesn’t happen often but I want to be honest.
The door open light sometimes lights up when everything is closed. It doesn’t effect the central locking so I haven’t investigated further.
Mileage is 128000 but the only thing original really is the shell. Engine has done around 2000 miles since rebuild.
Air con doesn't work.
The car is priced at £3500 which I think is fair for a car that has had a full engine rebuild and is an Original SMG Rev3 Turbo.
I will listen to offers when you have viewed the car but not before.
Viewing is recommended and can be arrange when convenient.
The car is located in TRURO, CORNWALL.
I have probably missed something but please feel free to PM me or ring me on 07881482167. I work on a building site so may not hear my phone but will call back when I can.
Thanks Rich

Thanks Sheppo.
I forgot to mention it also had a Toyota thermostat.
It has always been run on Shell V-Power and always warmed up and cooled down properly. It doesn't use any oil or water.
Cheers Rich
