Ben Wright

Ben Wright enters his fourth season with the Randolph College men’s basketball staff in 2014-15.

Wright has been very important to the WildCat men's program over the past three seasons, helping in all aspects of the WildCat program including recruitment, academic performance and scouting.

He came to Randolph after a successful two seasons at Emory University in Atlanta, Ga. Wright assisted with all aspects of the Eagles program, including day-to-day operations, recruiting, travel, practice plans, individual workouts and game planning. Wright was part of the University Athletic Association Co-Coaching Staff of the Year in 2009-10.

Before his experiences at Emory, Wright was an assistant coach for multiple AAU teams including the Atlanta Select Black 9U & 10U along with the Cape Fear Hurricanes 16U. He has also been a camp counselor at a variety of basketball camps, including camps at the University of Syracuse and Davidson College.

Wright received his Bachelor of Arts from Emory University in 2009 with a degree in history. He was a two year player at Oxford College before moving on to Emory during the 2008-09 campaign.
