Oh I’m so happy to have found this page. My mother got a single leave of a beautiful begonia from her doctors office. From that leaf she has grown the most gorgeous,funky midnight blue spikey leaved plant i have ever seen. I’ve been trying to find out it’s name for hours. Always just a little different leaf than Moms. Until I found your page . The name is Begonia x Voodoo. Would love to do some swapping with any one interested.
Well I’m back on your page feeling pretty much like a true dumb blonde.😳 my only excuse for feeling this way is the fact i was so excited when I actually found a picture of Mom’s plant that I didn’t realise the name XVoodoo belongs to the plant under Black Velvet which is the one my Mom has. Kind of a bummer, X Voodoo is such a cool name. Black Velvet is nice (don’t get me wrong, lol ) X Voodoo just sound so dark and mysterious. lol
I am very glad I came back and got it right before I made a name marker.
Also I was looking for more information for the winter months.

These are among my favourite potted plants . I had always dreamed of having a nice glass house and big garden by now. Like most dreams of mine nothing has come of it . I think now I will have to wait untill I get to heaben to have a beautifull garden and be able to play the pipe organ and be a good theologian. Non of my dreams ever came true
It makes me pretty down and sad a times. Just as droughts do.
