Hesperolinon micranthum
Wildflowers | Dicots | Eudicots | Rosids | Malpighiales | Linaceae | Hesperolinon |
A small annual plant about 30cm tall with thin stems and very thin leaves that look almost like stems themselves. It produces little white five-petalled flowers.
I’ve seen it on the ridge line of Aliso Loop Trail and the back side slope of Romero, growing in open sandy areas. Seen blooming in May and June.
