Melaleuca lasiandra

Melaleuca lasiandra is a paper bark shrub that grows to around 2-4 metres high. The flowers are creamy in colur and fruit is small and hairy. This species in fairly common in the Tanami and Great Sandy deserts and also occurs in some parts of the Kimberley. You can find an isolated colony of Melaleuca lasiandra in the centre of Wolfe Creek meteorite crater.
