  • Distribution: Indo-Malesia
  • Description: Woody climbers. Leaves alternate, broadly ovate, 5-ribbed, coriaceous. Flowers greenish-white, unisexual, many, in large drooping panicles on old branches. Fruit of 1-3 drupes; seeds 1, glabrous.
  • Habit: Climbers/Lianas
  • Habitat: Moist deciduous and evergreen forests, also sacred groves in the plains
  • Flowering & Fruiting: August-December
