George Clooney, Grant Heslov Sign Overall Deal with Sony TV

George Clooney and partner Grant Heslov’s production company, Smokehouse Pictures, has made a deal with Sony Pictures Television.

Under the two-year deal, the company will develop and produce comedy and drama series for all platforms, including broadcast, cable and digital.

Smokehouse is expanding its relationship with Sony, as the company moved its feature deal from Warner Bros. to Sony in 2009.

Smokehouse Pictures had been primarily focused on features like “The Monuments Men,” “Argo” and “August: Osage County.”

Clooney is repped by CAA and Lichter Grossman.
