NOC Interview: Troy Gentile Discusses ABC’s Hit Comedy, ‘The Goldbergs’

Troy Gentile plays everyone’s favorite passionate middle child, Barry Goldberg, also known as Big Tasty, on The Goldbergs. The comedy takes fans back to the ‘80s and is the perfect family show, filled with comfort, laughs, and plenty of heart. It is currently on season 8 with new episodes airing Wednesdays at 8 PM ET.

You will fall in love with the Goldberg family, which is made up of Beverly, Murray, Pops, Adam, Barry, and Erica. Throughout the series, we see Adam use his video camera to document his family and their lives. What makes this so unique is at the very end of each episode, viewers will see real footage of the actual Goldberg family, many events being what was just seen in the episode.

Gentile leaves every viewer laughing with his portrayal of Barry, who easily earned the title of fan favorite. From his raps to his over-the-top and dramatic responses, you can’t help but love him.
