Raiders struck at Purfleet store in the early hours

RAIDERS are reported to have used an angle grinder to force their way into a Purfleet shop in the early hours of the morning (Monday, 3 August).

Police are investigating following the burglary at McColls on Garrison Parade at around 12.40am which is believed to have involved three men.

Cigarettes and cash have been stolen.

A police statement said: "If you saw anything, have any CCTV or dash cam footage, or have any other information please call us on 101 quoting incident 51 of 3 August or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
