Immersaria usbekica (Hertel) Barbero, Nav.-Ros. et Roux c.n. [Syn.

Revision of the middle Toarcian subfamily Mercaticeratinae Guex, 1973 (Ammonitina, Hildoceratidae).- We here thoroughly compare the middle Toarcian Mercaticeratinae faunas from the NW European and the Mediterranean realms and show that these two faunas are significantly different. In turn, we erect a new genus for the Mercaticeratinae from the NW European realm, Pseudocrassiceras. This latter, whose first occurrence is in France and northern Spain at the base of the Variabilis Zone, is a very short-ranging taxon, as it went extinct without descendants before the end of the same zone. Although this new taxon indubitably originates from the Mediterranean Mercaticeratinae, we presently cannot identify the direct ancestor of Pseudocrassiceras bayani (Dumortier, 1874) n. gen., i.e., the most abundant and most cited species of the genus. The Mercaticeratinae occur in the Bifrons Zone both in Italy and Spain and therefore can have reached France from these two areas.

Gibbolucina aremorica nom. nov.
Abstract: Gibbolucina aremorica nom. nov. is proposed here to correct the primary homonymy Lucina profunda Dufour, 1881 from the Eocene of Loire-Atlantique (France) non Lucina profunda Deshayes, 1850 [= Diplodonta], a Neogne species of the Aquitaine basin, non Lucina profunda White, 1881, a Cretaceous species of Colorado (USA). Moreover, the name Diplodonta profunda Deshayes, 1857, introduced for a species of the Lutetian (Middle Eocene), homonym of Diplodonta profunda (Deshayes, 1850), is renamed Diplodonta oesia nom. nov.

MOTS-CLÉS : Mollusca, Gastropoda, Neogastropoda, Turbinellidae, Yprésien, Bassin de Paris, Clavogyra TITLE — Description of a new genus of TURBINELLIDAE from the middle-Ypresian (Cuisien), Sables de Pierrefonds. ABSTRACT — Clavogyra gen. nov. with type species C. ledeei nov. sp. is introduced close to the genus Coluzea Finlay in Allan, 1926, in the TURBINELLIDAE family. Its characteristics, specially its protoconque, ornementation, aperture and anterior canal, lead to consider it as new. It seems to be located to the Paris Basin, in the middle-Ypresian (Cuisien, Sables de Pierrefonds ; NP12 zone). KEYWORDS : Mollusca, Gastropoda, Neogastropoda, Turbinellidae, Ypresian, Paris Basin, Clavogyra

Fossil shells from Priabonian (Upper Eocene) of Dnipro (Oblast of Dnipropetrovsk, Ukraine) and attributed so far to Murex sandbergeri von Koenen, 1889 [= Timbellus arenarius (Steuer, 1912)] do not represent the Priabonian (Upper Eocene) species for whom von Koenen introduced this name. This misidentified species is here described as new. In spite of a strong resemblance, both species are different. Timbellus arenarius, originally described from the Upper Eocene and Oligocene of Germany is recorded for the first time in Ukraine in the same field. The name Timbellus priabonicus nom. nov. is proposed as a replacement name for Murex trialatus von Koenen, 1889 non Murex trialatus G.B. Sowerby (II), 1834. Sowerby (II), 1834.
