Beware: Endophyllum Sempervivi

There is a pathogen going around, affecting Aeoniums, sempervivums, and other members of the crassulaceae family. Beware of it when buying plants.

Symptoms include: bumps, rust fungus like patches, buds and fruits at autumn and winter, deformed/elongated leaves, spreads by spores. It can be more subtle. Just a few bumps on a leaf. Watch your plants closely.
It appears to be widespread on Aeoniums in cultivation, and I have noticed it on Aeonium lily pad.

This is highly contagious, but there is a possibility that fungicide may work.
Growing in Zone 9b, Mediterranean climate.
