Our small office has a Sharp EL-1801PIII and a Canon P23-DH V and they both take the same cartridge - an IR40T. These cartridges are all IR40Ts. I get a clear black and a clear red on both machines. Easy to change the cartridges - just open up the paper roll area and look at the top of the cartridge (usually off to one side a bit). One side says "lift here". Just flick it up gently with your fingernail, toss it and insert the new one. Easy peasy.
I was ready to buy a new printing calculator because the printed tapes from my beloved Sharp EL-1801P were unreadable. I thought I would give these replacement ink rollers a try first, and I'm glad I did! They arrived on time and are absolutely compatible with my Sharp machine. Very happy to save the money.
Do not buy this product, it is total garbage, I recently used the last one of five. The ink smeared on every cartridge, every digit black or red smeared so that the numbers looked like ink spills. The ink was so smeared the numbers were virtually illegible.
Looked all over for replacement ink cartridges for my calculator, and finally found one at a local bib box store, but it was dry and did not work any better than the one I took out. Then I had almost decided to buy another machine, and found these on Amazon. Took a chance and ordered them, and when they arrived they worked as good as a new machine. The print was nice and crisp and easy to read. Will buy again if I ever need to.
