Product Description

Product description

In Egg Mania: Eggstreme Madness, you must build a tower from falling puzzle pieces to reach a balloon basket high above. Your tower must be strong and stable, or it will collapse on itself back into the water below. If that wasn't hard enough, you'll have opponents that will do anything to stop you--from throwing bombs and hammers to summoning clouds of lightning. This is a frenetic puzzle game that both young and old gamers can enjoy.
This item comes with game, game case and manual. Item shows slight wear from use. Jewel case might be a replacement and might include replacement jewel case artwork. Bonus downloadable content may have already been redeemed. This item can be a great addition to your game collection both to play and display!

I first played this back when it was released and thought it was fun. I then sold my entire Gamecube collection a few years later and recently rebought a Gamecube and a lot of games for it. Seeing as this game is now (in 2013) ridiculously cheap, I decided to pick it up again. Well, you know how sometimes you see a movie as a kid and you love it, but watch it again as an adult and you think to yourself "Why the heck did I like that?" Well that pretty much sums up my feelings for this game. It's not terrible, it's just mediocre. There are so many better puzzle games out there and this one tries to be Tetris and it definitely isn't. It's fun for about an hour then you'll probably leave it on your shelf and never play it again. Its only saving grace is the fact that it can be bought for well under $10. If you're looking for cheap entertainment for a night, here it is. But you definitely won't be playing this over and over.

this game isn't that great. it gets boring really fast. its sort of like tetris, but the reverse, you have to build a tower instead of getting rid of blocks...its more fun with more than one person, because you get to throw bombs at them, and in custom mode you have to build up and throw bombs, but it still gets old too fast. there should be more to it, more options and stuff.
