Just had to write a short review as my trusty PitchureMate has gone down for the count. However, before you think that is going to be a bad review, it has bee a reliable printer for thousands upon thousands of prints for years now. I am a professional photographer, and we have used this printer at events from a benefit for the local SPCA, to a Santa day at a local food bank to Christmas parties, and it has performed flawlessly over the years. Rarely needing a head cleaning and producing beautiful quality prints quickly. People are always happy with the results and many times astounded at how quick they are ready and how good they are.

The only two issues are the ink and paper are bundled, and the ink never lasts for all the 150 sheets of paper. However, you can get aftermarket ink that works just fine, and they are available at any office supply store locally, so the times I that I have forgotten to get a pick I can just stop in at the local Office Depot and pick one up. Of course, they are cheaper here on Amazon. The second issue: and it has occurred only a couple of times, if you prints lots of copies at a time, and I think the number is about 100, the printer slows way down. Typically it takes less than a minute to get a print, but after that 100, its like 3 minutes, frustrating if you have people waiting, and the only way to fix it is to shut it off and let it wait for something like an hour.

For what I use this printer for, it has been great. The best printer I have ever owned. Now, it has begun to print green, and no amount of head cleaning, changing ink cartridges or head alignment will fix it. I am looking for another one.

I purchased this printer to use in a photo booth that I'm building for my wedding in January. I did a lot of research to find the fastest but still good looking prints. The PM260 delivers! The first print can be in your hands in about a minute and additional prints will be done in about 45 seconds. The quality is astounding. I've used up the initial cartridge and paper in testing my photo booth software and every print looked great.

One thing that did surprise me was the size of the printer. It's not massive, just bigger than the picture makes it out to look. Still very portable and easy to put away. It's very portable and the included handle is pretty cool. You can even purchase a battery and do totally portable prints. One feature that I really appreciated was a little strap on the power supply cord that allows you to wrap up the whole thing and hold it together.

Like most printers if you want to connect it to your computer you'll need a USB cable.

I haven't used the memory card slots or fancy in-printer editing features so I can't speak to those features.

I've been a professional photographer (photojournalist and wildflower photographer) for more than 20 years, and was looking for a small format printer to just work up 4x6 prints of everyday life.

Having worked in a photo lab many years ago I can be quite picky about my photo processing. I am VERY impressed with the quality and speed of this printer.

I was printing instantly out of the box and directly off a memory card. Needless to say, I quickly ran through the sample ink and paper and was looking for more! Luckily I had ordered a full-size replacement when I ordered the printer. This is a fun and easy to use unit and I love the small size.

The quality of the prints is outstanding - bright and nicely saturated, although a couple could have used tweaking via Photoshop (but in these cases the exposure was a bit off) - certainly nothing to blame on the printer. I can't wait to try a photo run through the computer and worked-up in Photoshop.

The bottom line - these prints are much better than anything I've gotten from a quickie lab. LOVE IT!

This compact little picture printer puts out great pictures. BUT, the ink cartridge will congeal if not used regularly resulting in streaked or miscolored pictures. Only think to do is chuck the cartridge and get a new one.

I like the printer in general, as it is very convenient and products good prints at a good price.

However, I only use it occasionally, and that means I need to go through multiple head-cleaning procedures each time before that batch of photos can be printed.
Also, the ink runs out well before the paper (maybe 3/4 of the way through an ink/paper pack). The "guarantee" with the printer seems to be lots of hassle so I haven't
bothered. So if you will use it frequently it's probably very good, but watch out for occasional use.

I recently purchased the Epson Picture Mate (Dash 260). I do a lot of scrapbooking and am thrilled at the variety of sizes of prints available. The Jumbo wallet is terrific, especially if I want to group a series of pics on one page. They are small enough to fit several on a page, but large enough to see lots of detail. The color and quality that the Picture Mate produces are excellent. Each time I use it, I discover more options that I like, but hadn't known were available. One of the best attributes is the fact that if you want several prints on one 4X6 sheet, they don't have to be duplicates of the same picture. So each 3X4 picture cost only half of the price of a 4X6 print, etc.. It is very portable, (I recommend purchasing the case Epson - Carrying case )so I have it with me when I travel to Scrapbooking functions. Epson PictureMate Personal Photo Printer
