Pros:
Super cheap if you pick up a used copy (I remember when it came out now 1/10th the price)
People still play this online!
Cheap enough to buy extra copies for your friends!
Works great on most computers.
Linux installer works that is on disk but does require some work to get updated and playable online.
No cd required in the cdrom drive to play the game, just a valid cd key!

Cons:
My copy was the multi disk super set of 7 disks for the base install and 3 for the additional mods.
Could not get the audio working under Ubuntu 13.10

I can't really take any stars off for these since they don't actually effect the products performance or they are
issues due to the fact the game is 10 years old and audio standards and systems change over time.

Tips:
Probably best installed on Linux via Wine.
Buy a copy for each of your friends and play it!

Pros: The game I want, received in 2 days from then to this morning, disk works, good price, The quality I expected!
Cons: Disk is UT2004 NOT the -Editors Edition- and its a DVD when I asked for CD, wouldn't hurt to add bubble-wrap when delivering.

Summary: I got the game I wanted, though not specifically the version I asked for, but not "return to sender" bad since that can be fixed with some community downloads at <...> containing the -Mega Pack- I needed.

Suggestions to BestGameDeals: Checking all the details on the version of the game ordered next time would be appreciated.

Was too short for this type of game. Had issues with gameplay and not as good as GOTY or original in regards to being able to recognize the opponents. Hard to figure out what you're supposed to be doing at times and where you need to be. Opponents seem to be able to shoot you from a very long distance even when they aren't visible. Took away from enjoyment because of those problems. Control and friendly A.I. were also at times an issue. Seems someone forgot to relive the first ones before making this one. I don't play online because of cheats. Maybe it's better, i don't know.

Awesome game. Highly recommended, though I kind of wish I'd gone with the single-DVD version of the box, rather than the multi-CD version.

Amazing deal. Unreal 2004 is one of the best games I've ever played and at 10 bucks, its a steal. Unreal 2004 is a faster pace FPS that comes with Team/Deathmatch, Onslaught (control bases), Assault (certain tasks to move on), and much more! Still has some pretty fun servers and comes jammed packed in 2 DVDs with tons of mods, behind the scenes, the ECE expansion pack and more! I regret not buying this game until now but at such a low price, its all good. Got my game in about 2 business days (ordered late on a thursday and since UPS doesn't work weekends, got it on Monday around noon) and came in mint condition in a huge DVD carry kit. FPS fans (Halo, Battlefield, Far Cry, Quake, etc), this is something NOT to pass up and you should definitely look forward to Unreal 2007.

This is a little too futuristic for my taste, but my brother and I play it online and it's fun for that. It makes me miss 007 Golden Eye on N64.
