'American Horror Story' is back just in time for spooky season with its eleventh season, 'American Horror Story: NYC.' 'American Horror Story' legend Denis O'Hare joined KRLD's What to Watch to talk about his role in the show.

O'Hare is an Emmy-nominated and Tony-Award-winning actor. You may recognize him from his roles in movies like Take Me Out and Dallas Buyers Club, or his character Russell Edgington on True Blood.

He's also appeared in six seasons of the popular horror show, 'American Horror Story,' and has rejoined the cast for the show's eleventh season.

Throughout the series, O'Hare has played several different characters, each one much different than the last. Whether he's playing a mute butler or Liz Taylor, you can be sure that his character will be memorable every season.

When asked which character was his favorite to portray, O'Hare hesitated to answer so as to not upset the other characters.

"It's sort of hard to say, only because I don't want to offend the other characters. I don't want to make Larry mad if I say that Liz is my favorite character. I don't want to make Spalding mad if I say that Stanley is my favorite character," he joked.

In the fifth season, 'American Horror Story: Hotel," O'Hare took on the unique role of Liz Taylor.

"I think playing Liz was a really powerful experience because she had a beginning, middle, and end. She had a death scene. She had a love story. She had happiness. And that to me was something I hadn't gotten with Larry, for example ... So Liz to me was a great opportunity to have a big character," he said.

In the new season, 'AHS: NYC' he plays a man named Henry Graham living in 1980s New York City. Not much has been revealed, but O'Hare gave us a little sneak peek at what to expect from his character.

"As far as Henry Graham goes, my character this year, all I can say is that he's got amazing clothes. They made all the clothes for me. They are incredible. They're like, you know, my color range is like salmon and powder blue. And I wear vests and I have big lapels and I have an amazing head of hair. So you'll see," he said.

O'Hare also gave us more insight as to why this season is being called "the deadliest season yet."

"Oh, well, there's a lot of killing. There's a lot of maiming. So, yes, pretty deadly," he said.

"There are elements of the season which are fantastical, which I think is really cool. And there are some surprising, non-real aspects to it, which I think are unique. That's all I can say about that. But I think that'll be really fun. Also, some really wonderful actors who you haven't seen before on Horror Story who are superb additions to the cast, which I think will be a joy for everybody," O'Hare told us.

The first two episodes of 'AHS: NYC' are now available to stream on Hulu. New episodes will be released on Wednesdays.
