This botanical illustration is one of a collection of 21 paintings of Cobra Lilies, painted by the author from photographs taken during her travels in South East Asia, where this genus is abundant. The incredible variety of shapes and colours of this interesting genus of plants caught the author's attention and led her to paint this collection.
