Description
Begonia chloroneura is a rhizomatous begonia endemic to the Sierra Madre in Luzon, Philippines. Its asymmetrical, serrated-edged leaves are dark green in color with marked lime green veining. The underside, as well as the margins of the leaves, present a reddish tone. It is characterized by presenting a notable reddish hairiness on the entire surface of the leaves and stems. The bloom is white. In its natural habitat it grows in very humid areas between rock crevices. We recommend its cultivation in terrariums, greenhouses or glass domes.
