Begonia negroensis x chlorosticta hybrid is a hybrid begonia between Begonia negroensis, from which it gets its pink hue, and Begonia Chlorosticta, from which it gets its striking pattern. It is a medium-sized shrubby Begonia that can reach 40 cm in height. Its leaves are approximately 15 cm long and have bright pink spots in contrast to the dark green of the rest of the leaf. The underside and stems are deep red. Its male flowers are small and pink while the female flowers are large and deep red. Its cultivation in terrariums or greenhouses is recommended, although it can adapt to a lower environmental humidity (65-70%)

  • Luz: semi-shade, never direct sun
  • Irrigation: moderate, high environmental humidity (70-80%). Avoid waterlogging if grown in a pot and direct irrigation on the leaves.
  • Temperature range: 18 - 30 ºC
  • Substratum: Rich in organic matter and with good drainage. We recommend our specialized blend of premium substrate.
