Origin

Habitat

It is part, although punctually, of the understory of the laurel forest, where it can become locally very abundant. Prefers the semisombríos and humid places (Gómez et al., 1996)

Population data

In the census conducted in 2015, 509 copies were counted, of which 499 were adults and 10 were juveniles. (Vice-Ministry of the Environment, 2015)
