Canary endemic
South and Northwest of Lanzarote.
It lives in piederriscos and platforms with enough soil, more rare in rocky environments. Although it grows from sea level to 600 meters, it develops better in the tabaibal-cardonal, supporting well the marine influence (Gómez et al., 1996)
In the census conducted in 2006, 66 adults were counted. (Vice-Ministry of the Environment, 2008)
