Breakfast was ample with plenty of choice. Location was good for me. Staff helpful and friendly. Very comfortable hotel. Bar meals also ample and plenty of choice. I liked the lounge.

The immediate area is perfect for walking, with the shores of Buttermere and Crummock Water less than a mile away. Whinlatter Forest Visitor Centre is only 3 miles away, featuring the Go Ape outdoor activity park.
