'Burn Notice' returns, and other TV highlights for the week

"The Amazing Race" (8 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 7, WOIO Channel 19): The seven remaining teams stay in Russia for the seventh leg of the 17th edition. Jill Haney, who grew up in Valley View, and her boyfriend, Thomas Wolfard, begin the episode in first place.

"Masterpiece Mystery!" (9 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 7, WVIZ Channel 25, WEAO Channel 49): A bomber challenges the great detective in "The Great Game," the third "Sherlock" movie starring Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman as 21st-century versions of Holmes and Watson.

"Boardwalk Empire" (9 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 7, HBO): Nucky Thompson (Steve Buscemi) receives some alarming news from Atlantic City while visiting Chicago.

"The Biggest Loser" (8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 9, WKYC Channel 3): The field is down to 10 contestants, including Aaron Thompkins, a graphic designer from Kent. The 6-foot-4 Thompkins, 29, had a starting weight of 468 pounds. So far, he has lost 84 pounds on the NBC reality show.

"Backstage With . . ." (8 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 10, Channel 25): Bay Village native Patricia Heaton, a two-time Emmy winner for "Everybody Loves Raymond" and the star of ABC's "The Middle," sits down for an Idea Center chat with host Scott Simon.

"Wartorn: 1861-2010" (9 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 11, HBO): James Gandolfini is the executive producer behind this Veterans Day documentary that puts the focus on post-traumatic stress disorder.

"Burn Notice" (10 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 11, USA Network): The quirky cable drama returns with an episode about a vengeful lawyer hiring a paranoid bomb maker to kill off members of a local gang.
