Origin: Peru (Churin), at 4000 to 6500 feet elevation (1200-2000 m)

Growth Habits: Tree-like cactus, 6 to 20 feet tall (2-6 m); stems 2 feet long (60 cm), 6 inches in diameter (15 cm); 5 to 9 ribs; 1 to 4 central spines; 10 to 15 radials, 0.4 inches long (1 cm)

Blooming Habits:
White flower, 3.2 to 4 inches long (8 to 10 cm)
